If you're a late night person like me, hours are bad. Latest open is 2am EST during the week. Weekends we close at 9.
Because we're open from 9am-2am EST during the week and 9am-9pm on weekends, you won't have much of a life, but that goes for many jobs.
All times are in eastern, so you have to be mindful of your time zones, which can lead to some confusion.
No overtime unless stated otherwise, which is rare.
Depending on your direct supervisor, you'll have a hard time getting in touch with them.
Support never has enough agents, so if you need help, it can take awhile to get help.
Family emergencies count against you. If you need to leave suddenly, it's an unapproved absence.
Constant tech issues. Some have been out for a week because of their phone not working, and sometimes you have to log early due to them not being able to fix something, if you are effected. Happens a lot.
You can be on a call for as long as callers need help, which means you can be on a call for as long as needed. Longest call I've had was nearly three hours. Some have had four hour calls.
