Pros

Awesome co workers. 6 week paid training. Work with school schedule. Pay isn't too shabby, but after you hit the floor and realize all you have to do, I still think employees should start off at a higher pay.

Cons

"SALES SALES SALES" is all you hear after training. Initially in the interviews, they make it seem like the job is strictly customer service. HA, what a joke. Once you hit the floor, you'll hear "how many sales are you gonna get me today" every 10 mins from your team manager. If you don't sell wireless or broadband, your schedule is basically going to suck. Had I known that sales were going to be shoved down my throat, I would've never taken the offer. BEWARE OF SALES!!!

Pros

I worked with a awesome manager from April 2016-January 2017. My co workers were like family, and even though I no longer work for SGS, I still talk to them on a daily basis. If you are knowledgeable, you'll start seeing your co-workers to account managers coming to YOU for answers because they do not know the answer.

Cons

Promote based on performance, and how well you do you job (i.e. good CR!FT, metrics), don't promote because favoritism. I watched people that were borderline smarter than a brick wall get promotions because they were good friends with a account manager. In fact, I actually applied to be a QA agent as well as a Team Manager twice, and both times I got turned down...it was due to me being over qualified.

Pros

There are no pros to working for a company which fosters the kind of environment I was dealing with every day.

Cons

The supervisors lie and encourage immoral behavior; they enable behaviors which cheat customers of their money. I was constantly told to do things against my job duties and falsely accused of not doing my job. They would argue and fight with me and try to make it seem I caused trouble for them. They literally have zero consciousness for anything they do and zero work ethic. They do mindless things to waste time and simply encourage people to give "no" as the answer to customers for everything. They steal, cheat, and lie. The entire supervisory and HR staff have zero work ethic. I worked harder than anyone else around me and they felt threatened and jealous. They thought I was there to be walked all over. They literally have zero conviction and I hope they all end up with a major lawsuit and in jail for committing and enabling criminal and abusive behaviors.
