Pros
Swedish attracts a lot of smart people. I met a lot of people who really challenged me to be the best clinician I could be. I also met friends for life. The relationships are rewarding at the personal and professional level. It was also a good training ground.
Cons
Swedish has a culture in which lots of people are rude and they are able to get away with it. I have friends in different areas of the hospital, and all of them state the same thing. Managers are not supportive of helping their staff. It feels futile to go to them with your concerns.
