Pros

1) Great camaraderie of colleagues 2) Very good physicians with excellent skills and knowledge on best treatments

Cons

With Providence St Joseph Health take-over, it has become another silo mill of being an employed physician: there are forced “quality” or “incentive” measures, upper management/C-suite doesn’t listen and have their own agendas that are usually based in profits rather than patient/physician care and local changes to practice or EMR now have to be approved through a several-months process of meetings and bureaucratic frustrations.
