      Pros

      Pay is competitive and benefits are exceptionally good. The new CEO is great and has demonstrated great leadership. The company is very good about controlling costs without imposing draconian cutbacks on employees.

      Cons

      There has been a lot of movement among administrative management as resources have merged post affiliation. There is not yet a clear HR strategy that embraces the different companies under Swedish Health Services. The EHR (EPIC) is very well managed and maintained centrally but there is a huge unaddressed need for optimization in individual departments that is beyond the ability of the help desk.

      Pros

      Pay is great. The people i work with are friendly and majority of the providers are humble and easy to talk with, when they do talk to you. Benefits are better than surrounding medical facilities.

      Cons

      Want to do everything that a certified medical assistant is supposed to but without a lic. ? Apply to be a PCC. Patient care coordinator. Whether it be taking blood pressure and vitals on a patient, telling patients about their lab work, pending medication refills to the provider and associating lab orders with diagnoses . No experience required you can do it all! No state lic. Sometimes I wonder what I am even needed for. The MA roll doesn't get a lot of respect, or aknowledge-ment.
