We would like to say that our culture is based on excellence and integrity. We always do our best----and then push harder to do even better. That has nothing to do with "shame" and everything to do with providing the best possible service for our millions of highly satisfied customers.

Pros

I liked working at sweetwater. It was a nice work culture.

Cons

There's pockets of toxcity, especially in IT. I got great reviews for 2 years until a specific manager decided he didn't like me. In the end, he got me fired.

I'm very sorry to hear about this experience for you. You've obviously already moved on and I wish you nothing but the very best. If you or any team member ever have concerns about a manager or a colleague, you are always welcome to confidentially engage with HR. We are here to work through situations and advocate for employees in every way we can! - Jeff Ostermann, Chief People & Culture Officer

Pros

Environment is fun. Lots of perks. Some good people.

Cons

IT is extremely siloed and nobody knows what anyone else does. IT management is a "good ole boys" club and promote each other over and over, even though job responsibilities never change. People are promoted to manager positions weekly, and the majority are not qualified and blame their team for their shortcomings. No opportunities for advancement unless you want to be an underqualified manager.
