Difficult to move up Constantly reminded that you're expendable Lack of organizational structure, no one adheres to the job descriptions and management expects you to do a little of everything, which makes accountability impossible.

To learn the ropes of the industry. It is a company for new drivers to gain experience and then move on for greener pastures.

Cons

To Swift you are just another drone to serve their purpose. You are just a driver code among many driver codes at their finger tips. No company employee relationship at all

Pros

The terminal where I worked had a great family environment. Office employees and drivers got along great!

Cons

When Swift took over, it was less about people and employees. More about getting the driver off the phone as fast as possible. Moving them through like cattle rather than people with concerns or problems.
