Pros
-Other staff were nice -I did feel welcome by the management and they were approachable
Cons
-Group lessons were an absolute nightmare. Kids ussually did not listen to a single thing. There was no time to breath after each lesson, before the next group was shoved in your face -While the job included working in those cool endless pools, working in them was pretty disgusting. Kids who were sick often would wipe their snot and gunk into it, and I got caught something on one ocassion. -Job obviously included instructing as well as doing chems, which is normal for any aquatics job. However the job also included some very gross tasks such as manually cleaning (with no gloves and just chemicals) the pool filters filled with all kinds of nasty stuff. Also included a ton of mopping and cleaning windows, extraneous to your shift, meaning you could be there for an extra hour. -Part time, but not very flexible hours.
