Pros

Flexible. Flexible. Flexible. Flexible. Flexible.

Cons

Fast food restaurants pay more than many assignments(17.00 hourly). What an insult! You have a business because of us! Teachers have to deal with students practically coughing/sneezing in their faces (the risk of COVID is HIGH), bad behavior, and oftentimes long drives with toll charges. DO BETTER. Pay a higher rate. A flat rate like other third-party agencies. The minimum full-day rate for a teacher with a permit should be $200. Pay a 4-hour minimum(if a teacher works 2 hours, they should be paid 4 hours- this is standard at many third-party agencies). At this point, it is better to go directly to school districts.

Pros

Being able to sub for a variety of grades provides great means to grow into a teaching role.

Cons

There aren't enough assignments posted to justify relying on Swing Education subbing in any meaningful way.
