Without warning, will decrease amount of jobs available (substantially) to you for being sick.

-Flexibility -Quick signup -W-2 job

Cons

-Removes a job you’ve committed to without ANY correspondence. -It’s like instacart or uber, got to constantly logon your phone and snatch a job up before others get it. -Random, no way to request further assignments at a school site. -No phone number or seemingly real people to offer support.

Pros

Get paid weekly. The schools that Swing is works with are fairly well run and have amiable student bodies.

Cons

Swing offers very few shifts. If you want to work you need to wake up as early as possible every day, log into the Swing app, and then try to reserve a placement on the before they're all taken. This is assuming there are any shifts available to begin with. If you're lucky you might secure a multi-day placement but those are rare. In my opinion. it would be incredibly unrealistic to rely on Swing as a primary source of income.
