Pros
Swope's mission and vision is community directed and many from the community benefit from the services. I've helped change lives. It's very rewarding.
Cons
The work itself is meaningful, but middle management tends to be out of touch with non management positions and sometimes it seems as if the company tries to rule by intimidation. This produces unnecessary stress on the revenue generating employees. There also seems to be a lot of insecurity and distrust among associates...usually in management to non-management positions. For the reason, the work is rewarding, but office politics dampers the experience.
