      Good benefits and pay Amazing technicians

      Cons

      There is no long term vision/plan for the plant. Problems are dealt with when they become a big issue. Lack of HR involvement in employee issues. No work/life balance Favoritism Major projects are assigned based on personnel availability and not based on strengths and proper experience.

      Pros

      Sylvamo is building a new corporate office in Memphis which is supposed to be very nice.

      Cons

      Leadership is not receptive to employee feedback if the employee was not previously from International Paper. The pay and benefits are “meh” at best, especially with inflation. Documentation is very outdated or not-existent in many areas so learning as a new employee is extremely difficult. I never got a sense of being part of a team while working here. Overall, it was a huge waste of my time and I wish I had stayed at my previous company instead.
