      Toxic environment with poor training and management

      Pros

      None because this place sucks.

      Cons

      -managers talk about you behind your back to leads (sending snarky gifs) -terrible training. updates are made last minute with no training and the “training” provided is just pdf word documents -have you working with incompetent overseas agents who don’t know anything and expect you to handle their workload -every departments workload is handed off to intake agents -they work you like a dog with little to no room for switching departments -will tell you no call no showed when you have proof of contacting manager when you weren’t going to be in for the day -drag you into pop up meetings and don’t adjust your time so you get penalized for being off queue and so much more…

      Fast growing, great place to work

      Pros

      - highly engaged leadership team that is actively working to improve both the DME industry broadly and internal challenges that come with growth - they hire smart, kind, and hardworking people so everyone you work with is talented and awesome to collaborate with - rapid growth will create opportunities in the coming years - fully remote for corporate roles with in-person meet ups throughout the year, consistent monthly town halls and communications come out regularly to keep you informed of what's going on - solid benefits package

      Cons

      - due to rapid growth and change that comes with being a startup, internal systems and collaboration processes are not yet standardized. It's something the company is working on but not there yet - you have to jump right in when you start, things do move at a fast pace - DME in general can be tough when there are mistakes because you are supporting patients with serious medical conditions so it can feel high pressure at times

      Synapse is a great fit if you thrive in a fast-moving environment, want to make a tangible impact in healthcare, and enjoy building in an evolving organization. If you prefer a highly structured, steady environment, this may not be the right place. But for those who embrace change and want to be part of a company with strong purpose and momentum, it’s an exciting place to work.
