Pros

The people are great at PCA. Benefits are good overall. Lots of small benefits which, if taken advantage of, can go a long way. Everything is run fairly from the top down.

Cons

Some people do not pull their weight and just float by. To be fair, I'm sure this happens at almost every company.

this company does not practice what it preaches

It was a good company before it got so big. Now they are impersonal and treat people like a number.

Cons

The CEO sent out an email regarding layoffs with the virus situation. He didn't given any details or dates and just left it out there for people to worry and wonder for weeks. They cut people with years of seniority with no consideration for loyalty and replaced them with less experienced people. They don't given that even keep up with cost of living adjustments and do not offer cost of living adjustments. They had offered new benefits in January 2020 and took them away by June 2020. They claim to be good communicators when they are not good at communicating anything from the upper management down.

Thank you for taking time to review PCA, we are sorry that you are disgruntled with our leadership and Company! We strive to communicate effectively everyday to our employees and have seen much success through our many channels of communicating. We only ask that our team members take advantage of those channels. We, like many companies, have gone through a very challenging time with the COVID 19 outbreak and due to loss of business we made adjustments to staffing which impacted individuals, something as a leader we do not enjoy! We value our team members and do everything we can to support them but as a business difficult decisions are required at times, and our goal is the overall health of the company. WE HAVE NOT ELIMINATED BENEFITS but we did put our 401K Match on hold until January which at that time it will resume. WE appreciate your more than 5 years of service at PCA, I have been the CEO for that entire time and we have been very successful at growing and developing individuals who have grown with our company. I wish you the best in your career and hope that you find a company that meets all of your expectations.

It is hard to find a job where you truly love coming to work, but you definitely have that here. The people are warm and welcoming and make you feel like a part of the team as soon as you start. Everyone is always willing to jump in and help whenever you have questions and never make you feel like you are bothering them. Just a really positive and supportive environment!
