Pros

Excellent benefit program in regards to tuition reimbursement and healthcare benefits. Fair 401(k) program. Great business practices in theory.

Cons

Some of the disadvantages to working at Synchrony Financial would be pay related. It is not competitive and not designed for talent retention. It is a great entry level company for someone out of college or new to the workforce who wants gain experience for their resume. This is not a long term plan for someone to establish financial security.

Pros

Coworkers are excellent. Everyone gets along pretty well. I love the team I work with.

Cons

Too strict on Quality. I can respect the fact that you want all customers treated with divinity and respect, but to be fired over too many failed calls is ridiculous.. And it's not even because of being rude to the customers.

I have just accepted an employment offer with Synchrony. So far everyone that I have dealt with have been friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The hiring process has been smooth and it seems like they have it together. Excited to see how it goes.

None that I have witnessed thus far.
