Would Not Wish This On My Worst Enemy

Company has great potential. Very interesting products. Not much else...

Cons

Was not really sure what the position was until the first day. They call it "Product Specialist" but it really is just a fancy name for a Call Center Tech Support. Laughable management. Most of the "managers" aren't really qualified for the title. The Support Manager is not knowledgeable about its own products, leading to little to no training for new hires. It almost feels like they pick a name out of a hat when it comes to choosing a manager. Morale is a huge issue. The IT guy has no clue what he is doing and is a condescending brat. HR refuses to listen to complaints and has kept the guy on for years despite having plenty of people that are qualified for the job in its own tech support dept. Speaking of HR, it basically doesn't exist. They don't listen to their employees and benefits are non-existence. They'll force you to go see a doctor for a common cold if you don't have enough PTO because they took away sick days. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. STAY AWAY

Pros

In a small company you can wear a lot of different hats and get plenty of good experience. The management genuinely wants to be doing a good job, even if it isn't always apparent.

Cons

Salaries are low, moral is low, staff is not very experienced leading to a lot of inefficiencies and making it a difficult place to learn. There are a lot of politics in this small company and not a ton of structure, making it easy for one project to make you into a hero or villain, annual reviews are haphazard. This company is VERY time focused, in some departments lunches are reviewed very strictly.

Pros

Great product and great place for a new graduate or anyone that wishes to learn about data storage and related computer concepts. If you decide to work here, don't get stuck in a rut. Treat this job as a stepping stone, and move on to something better at the earliest opportunity that comes your way.

Cons

The salaries are pitiful and well below the current average. Morale is very low, culture is non-existent, management lacks experience, and the senior leadership does not seem to have a solid strategy for improvement.
