Desperate or uneducated?

Pros

If you're desperate and or uneducated this is the company for you. I don't think they require a GED If you need quick cash work for a month and quit.

Cons

This is the most unsafe place I've ever worked. I would wager almost everyone here has been injured. I met 6+ on light duty some with life altering injuries. The pay is a lie and considered "Chinese" pay to confuse you. I still have no idea how I was paid. They set you up to fail then dip your hourly because you took too long due to their incompetence The hours were horrible. Start at 3-6 get up around 1-2am. The work is enough for 2 guys and they will expect you to do it alone. Regular 14-16 hour days. Horrible vacation and time off. Plan on being tired all the time and having to get in bed . Literally 1920 working conditions I would or worse. Their customers are a range of places usually a semi is not made for. They don't care they'll load you a large trailer and have you risk YOUR CDL. They have so many chiefs I've never seen a place so top heavy on management. It's hilarious really. You come talk to them and they're like "yeah I worked the truck for 3-4 years" now they're somehow in management likely without any education and because the work they were doing in the field was unsurvivable.

We are committed to creating an open, diverse, and respectful environment and take feedback from our current and former associates very seriously. We’re disappointed to read that you didn’t have a good experience and hope that you provided feedback to the leadership of your Sysco company so that your specific concerns could be addressed.
