Pros

You can tell Sysco is the best in the business after working there and seeing how they run things and how they try to take good care of their employees. At Sysco you will be compensated very well for your work, especially if you want to work hard.

Cons

The biggest flaw with Sysco is that because the customers come first, if/when there is an influx of work, the employees are required to work extra (well paid) hours, and that could be worse than 60 hours weeks such as during the pandemic recovery.

Pros

In the tax department there are no pros.

Cons

If you are here because you are applying for the open indirect tax positions don’t…7 employees have left since November if that tells you anything. Management is allowed to treat employees harshly and some are absolutely clueless and makes you wonder how they were awarded a manager position. HR does nothing about it even when employees have reported management. You would think they got the hint since there has been a high turnaround in the department for YEARS but unfortunately they have not.
