Pros

Depending on boss, you make your schedule and just go get business

Cons

You’re a number. They expect numbers but will not listen to the roadblocks that are put in your way. You’ll work 6 days/week always and be expected to put in long days. Quality of life is poor and management doesn’t care, adding extra jobs while they’re off on weekends. Expect to work 60+ hours and always be asked for more. Nothing will ever be good enough

Pros

For the most part, as long as your territory is consistently growing, you will be very well compensated.

Cons

Downside to working with Sysco is the toxic work environment. I witnessed management talk down on different cultures that were not like them. Loads of admin to keep up with, along with also being in the field speaking with your customers. The operations & transportation of the company mostly perform poorly, which can also cause you to lose customers. The training system in place does not properly prepare you for field work and admin.
