Pros

The work itself is manageable and has potential. Some teammates were supportive and genuinely tried to help each other despite the lack of structure

Cons

The biggest issues come from management, not the job. Training is extremely limited, yet new hires are expected to perform at full capacity right away. At one point, two brand-new employees were given the workload of four, with almost no guidance or support. Expectations were unrealistic and set people up for stress and burnout. The management style in the LAC Streets JMMs department is the main reason employees struggle. The supervisor in charge often communicated in a dismissive and unprofessional way, creating a tense and discouraging atmosphere. More than four people left our department directly because of this supervisor’s behavior—not because of the work itself. The lack of respect, empathy, and leadership makes it difficult to feel valued or motivated.
