Pros

Large company, amenities and benefits, plenty of resources (people) within the different office locations.

Cons

This place literally couldn't care less about individuals. The managers are all self-serving and will gladly sell you to a butcher shop if it means a promotion. There's a constant threat of failure and disappointment hanging over your head. On top of that, they will make you work extra hours and don't pay you at all for all the hard work.

Thank you for sharing your past experience as a team member. We maintain high benchmarks of quality and regret that we did not live up to our standards in your case. Being a global leader in the replacement tire and automotive service industry is a challenging endeavor, and our organization is a work in progress. Therefore, we welcome constructive criticism and will do our best to address any issues brought to our attention.

Pros

There is nothing positive to state about this experience.

Cons

There is so much negativity in the contact center that management was required by HR to hold meetings to address the issues. Sadly, these meetings were basically used as a witch hunt and to inform staff to keep their mouths shut or else. Friends hired from a certain place of previous employment in common were given positions they are clearly unqualified to perform and are rigorously defended when they are wrong. One even makes no bones about if you are one of their favorites or not which is determined by if you are this person's drinking buddy or not after hours. No one appreciates seeing or being yelled at by this person in front of other associates; this person has even gone so far as to cause a female employee to weep openly in front of everyone else. Employees in training sessions are provided with play dough and other silly romper room childish like things which are insulting to most and completely unprofessional and inappropriate in an adult training environment. Also, don't expect your annual performance appraisal to accurately reflect your abilities and efforts; do expect to see some bold outright lies. You have to meet a $3500 deductible before your health insurance kicks in and starts paying a percentage even at that point. This company even went so far as to challenge unemployment compensation for the 42 employees they laid off in early 2017, which included laying off employees who exceeded their stats and keeping others that had never met stats, but could be controlled. They have no fear of lawsuits as you are forced to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment. Do yourself a huge favor and don't even think about putting yourself through such a toxic experience.

Pros

Compensation is marginal for the SFLA market area. Cost of Living index is high where Corp is located. Benefits are decent but do seem to change every year. there are really good people that work at TBC, made many friends. There are promotion opportunities if you know the right people. The Corporation is located in a beautiful area only miles from the Beach.

Cons

Management has no direction, to many changes from year to year. executive management has no idea how middle management is treating their direct reports. Toxic environment in some departments that doesn't seem to change or get re-mediated. Constant work changes so you have no idea what you doing from one day to the next. Very stressful retail work situation plan on working nights and weekends.
