Not worth the drastic pay cut!

Pros

The only thing positive about the company I can mention is the "culture of good". Donations and community outreach for this company are a priority. But that's where it ends.... I guess it's to distract people of how horrible this company is.

Cons

1) For being a communications company, 1 thing they lack is communication... Policies and procedures are up in the air while people guess as what to do with certain situations and normal day to day communication down the "chain" to the reps is nonexsistent. 2) This company has 1 of the worst pay structures in the industry! I have been in wireless for 3 years and my wife has been in the wireless industry for 7 years. Between the 2 of us we have seen 6 different pay structures, some great, some not so great... $5 per hour isn't enough to live on. Although 15% commission sounds nice, it's 15% of a lower payout which isn't worth the hassle. 3) Lack of honesty and integrity from upper management. The company has no qualms about lying to you. Instead of a simple "yes, no or I honestly don't have a clue", you get either a B.S. answer or a run around. 4) The company prides itself on using the latest technologies in their stores but yet haven't figured out how to setup wireless printing (for those tasks that REQUIRE you to use a mobile device) creating double work for the employee. The computer systems are outdated and laggy (both the equipment and the operating system). The POS system is outdated as well and in no way streamlined for efficiency (making your job harder and longer than needed). The Qmadix accessories are unreliable (have been for the last 3 years of my experience with them) and cost too much.

Terrible experience

Pros

Offer a solution to customers with needs. Resell Verison services.

Cons

If you don't make the minimum goal, even in your first month you are terminated. Lack of training, lack of leadership, lack of help. Most stores have 2 people working in them to cover all operational hours. Company does not have a direction other than attaining gross profit by whatever means necessary.

Pros

Somewhat relaxed work environment (at least at my store), getting to work with the latest devices.

Cons

Terrible pay, pay structure always changing, horrible upper management, they have minimum standards, which doesn't bother me, but you don't get to prove yourself so if you have a bad month and don't hit the goals, they don't help you improve, they just fire you.
