      Pros

      Jobs are not physically demanding.

      Cons

      where do I start... Well hopefully you are best friends with higher ups.. it's pretty much the only way you will advance. Not to mention having to do work above your pay grade for years upon years.. constantly being forced on mandatory overtime. Sure you have vacation time but when your stuck having to work 32+ overtime hours a month then you can't really use your time and meet your ot quota.. HR is only there to support the people on a salary while almost all hourly wage workers get walked on.

      Pros

      Suffice it to say, TE Connectivity went from a place that I could see myself retiring from to a place that I couldn't wait to escape in just a matter of a few years. The benefits are solid, the pay is good as well, but the corporate environment and the endless amounts of politics that come with it were too much to bear. Senior management does a great job of pushing ridiculous metrics onto organizations, then re-writing those metrics.

      Cons

      If you've a favorite of your manager, you'll go a long ways. If not, you can go from a great team player to being on the bubble in a matter of months. It's just plain silly. Just silly. The organization as a whole is completely bent on short term within the quarter goals. It's rather disheartening.

      Pros

      Fantastic Raychem Energy products, fantastic people here originally with a lot of ideas and teamwork.

      Cons

      Management team for Energy from the top down is demeaning to employees. Systems and processes have put hand cuffs on creativity and agility. People are afraid to take chances for fear of retaliation. All the talent has fled.
