There is plenty of good, but there is so much more lacking... Mid-to-high level managers lack basic understanding of issues, challenges, customer requirements. The Wilsonville factory is not a cookie cutter business and applying cookie cutter manufacturing norms doesn't work. The solution to most of the larger issue seems to be to implement more layers of management. Production is composed of mostly hiring service folks who have very little reason to over-achieve. Sometimes they lack basic skill to get their job done. The same problems seem to reoccur often, but there is little desire to truly fix them or to support those who want to fix it- that applies to ops, engineering, purchasing..

Massive shutdowns in this location! Engineering Dept = Gone! Planning Dept = Gone! Customer Srvice Dept = Gone! Hermetics Dept = Gone! They even though it was smart( more like sneaky / fake show of force) to move everyone into one large area in the front in order to give customers the feeling that everything’s ok. A bunch of despotistic people running the show which were placed incorrectly in managerial and supervisory positions are driving this location literally to zero existence!
