      No forethought to changing and challenging HR situations

      Pros

      Opportunity to work with various levels of management. Products are respected in the industry. Company succeeds in spite of management shortcomings.

      Cons

      Zero communication from HR on important issues. VP of HR Operations is clueless and indicated he is"not a subject matter expert in anything" Senior VP of HR is unapproachable and seems to be about 20 years behind top notch companies. No corporate oversight into business unit policies. If the OFCCP wanted to make more money they would only need to audit TE Connectivity.

      Is practicing from "Good" to "Mediocre" Management

      Pros

      Industry leading company with a global foot-print. When economy is good, the company generates a lot of cash. One strength is the companies agility due to decentralization. Break out managers can accomplish a lot. However, management plays the blame game and this culture has over burdened the organization with a level of management that does not make decisions out of fear.

      Cons

      Very political environment. Very decentralized decision-making process affords confusion, waste and high levels of employee frustration. Management expresses concerns about employee engagement but takes little or no action.

      Great people to work with, dedicated and friendly. Supervisors are fair.

      Cons

      Expectations of senior management are unrealistic. Salaries are low, health benefits expensive and poor. Company needs more employees.
