      Pros

      TEGNA's focus on purpose, great people and forward thinking approach make them a premiere local content company. They are a large company and value promoting from within so growth is tangible. They invest in the development of their people.

      Cons

      They operate in very lean fashion which results in not always getting what you need to do the job and in some cases reducing the quality and quantity of employee benefits/perks.

      Pros

      TEGNA is now one of the largest television-related employers out there. Because of it, you'll have a lot of mobility.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, because of its size - TEGNA has access to a vast talent pool of young workers. They don't need to pay people anything because the large market stations can pluck from their small markets.

      Dynamic company in broadcasting and digital space. Greatly values employees with competitive wags and benefits. Forward looking management and vision.

      Cons

      High expectations. Long hours. A lot of work expected from small teams. Sometimes feel stretched. Holidays and vacation not as good as others in industry.
