Deal in with vapid liars only out to make a dollar. That sums it up. I turned down another position to work for TEKsystems only to find out they were lying about jobsite perks and conditions. I was basically promised the world, but delivered nothing. "Remote work, great learning armosphere. Bla bla..." I ended up in some hell-hole sweatshop. Only thing that didn't change was the pay but it was hardly worth it. Oh and they are toying with my last paycheck after I quit. Pitiful.

Was guaranteed permanent employment with the client at the conclusion of 3-4 months. At the conclusion of 3-4 months, received an apology from Tek and was told that the client was no longer hiring external candidates - but that they would absolutely do so at the conclusion of 6 months. Considering I left a permanent position only because of this guarantee (am a single father, special needs son, signed new lease), what else to do at that point? Mentioned how skeptical I was now because I had a "signed" guarantee already. At the conclusion of 6 months, I'm being told again that "hey, there's nothing we can do."
