The biggest con by far for the Chicago territory office is the Director of business for the location is one of the MOST dramatic, condescending, confusing, weird individuals I’ve ever had to work for. This guy will make it his job to try to prove a point for the most mundane things. If it’s setting appointments, reaching out to people who you’re talking to the most in the office what you doing when you get home for work… the list goes on and on if you don’t do exactly what this brainwashed drama king expects of you and the most robotic and outdated ways you’ll be looked at oddly. That also goes for some of the subordinates in the office. Teksystems has a very old fashion way of conducting business where your life should revolve around your work. They’re trying to bridge the gap with getting any random talent in the door by recruiting and reaching out to recent or upcoming college grads. This is where they’ll get the most bang for the buck because your first job out of college. Not too many people will question how things should be, but anyone that has worked any sort of officer corporate job can obviously tell there’s a lot of things this company has backwards. There are definitely some cool people in management but for the most part, the ones you don’t want in your face will be the ones most present to say the least. Well, working as a new employee it’s easy to tell who sticks out in the office know who is out it as the one most difficult to be around or tolerate. There’s also so much micromanagement going on. They got hazy as far as what the goal was for the company hit random KPI’s, or actually do the job. The starting pay for account managers is 60k. But with all the KPI’s in the dress code and traversing to the downtown Chicago every morning, none of that lights a candle for how dramatic and Omni, annoying and fake some of the leaders of the offices, one in particular. Would hey sometimes you get catered lunches so… yea 2/10 I recommend for people that absolutely need a job and are just looking to get back on their feet but absolutely not for anyone looking for a permanent career
