The work-life balance at TELUS is phenomenal. The option to work from home is very convenient for those who commute long distances.

Cons

Information tend to be silo based. Business units appear reluctant to share.

most people work at the call centre for 3 years tops, no chance of advancement in recent years

good benefits package good experience dealing with difficult customers/situations hone skills with dealing with public good training opportunities when time allowed it

Cons

all shifts determined by seniority, even if others transferred from other depts no flexibility with changing shifts unless requested months in advance working at-home is a mixed blessing, still must deal with strict shift must work during holidays unless at company close to 10 years
