Great atmosphere, good benefits, and top levels of management are approachable. Opportunity to work on a variety of projects, and see your improvements implemented. The industry is growing, and you'll learn some valuable skills that can be transferred elsewhere.
Cons
Staff level pay is below average for the field, and there is not much of a formal career path. Promotions seem arbitrary, and there are too many Manager to Director level people who seem to do little except delegate everything to the staff. I've seen very talented employees stuck in the same roles because they're needed to run day-to-day operations. Lesser employees are promoted to supervise. THQ is a wonderful place to work day-to-day, just year-on-year seems like a dead end.
