      Pros

      The benefits are great and my boss could not be better. They place a premium on diversity however the practical application of valuing diversity when making decisions is not done thoughtfully.

      Cons

      The out for your self attitude. The homogeny of thoughts, ideas, afraid to veer from the accepted norm. The way that the premium on diversity is executed.

      Pros

      TIAA-CREF offers opportunities to work in grass-roots efforts for the betterment of the company. Technology does not drive processes. Furlough days can be chosen outside the actual holiday time in the case of contingent workers.

      Cons

      TIAA-CREF does not provide the technology required to perform tasks required for the advancement and streamlining of processes. Equipment and software is antequated and not used to its fullest extent. Furlough time, albeit unpaid is impactful to the contingent worker who would need to seek employment outside the company to meet market salary rates.

      Going from once considered a good company to work for to worst.

      Pros

      Was once a nice company to work for. There is a hope that one day things will be better. The retirement benefit was better earlier but company has reduced that last year.

      Cons

      high politics, unaccountable and incompetent management, environment promoting carrier growth and employee development lacking, increasing unfairness and groupisum, top heavy and disorderly organization structure where there is no clear accountability
