Pros

I appreciate doing things the "right way." In my field of study being ethical and principled is ideal. TRC management has encouraged its staff to have such traits. I assume that is why I have remained here for 18 years. I can literally say that growing up in this environment has made me a much better person. And for that I am truly thankful.

Cons

The only con I can think of is the volatility of the industry in general.

Pros

Scheduling. Steady work, and off weekends. That is a big plus in this world. You do work consistently to get comfortable. Really good group of co-workers, plus assignments are pretty easy.

Cons

Can not move up. Once in position, you are held there until either assignment over, or until you get hired. Your income is less than 20k, so you will not be able to enjoy luxuries world has to offer. It is an old school job that will bore you if not motivated.

Amazing management, huge support system, company wants to hear your voice. Company is flexible when you need time off or have emergencies. You are able to work at home if an emergency arises. Very team oriented. They work hard and play hard. Management fights for their employees.

Cons

Probably run "leaner" than they should.
