      Big Change After PE Sale and Leadership Changes

      Pros

      - The company was a fantastic place to work prior to sale to PE firm. Great benefits and the feeling of being a part of family.

      Cons

      The company completely changed after sale to PE firm and top leadership changed. The family atmosphere and culture was gone within months and a mass exodus of the corporate office entailed. HR leadership has turned into a complete train wreck.

      Pros

      Prior to the sale, Leadership cared about the associates. The CEO used to be a Biomed Technician, and therefore understood many of the challenges facing the employees. The atmosphere was that of a small, tight-knit organization, despite having almost 1,000 employees.

      Cons

      Everything changed when the company was sold to a Private Equity firm. The entire Executive team was replaced, and the focus became solely that of turning a profit. Turnover amongst the staff skyrocketed after the change as well. Those who could get in with the new executive team were rewarded, and those who did not, were asked to leave. Many in upper management do not even reside in the Indianapolis area. They chose to fly in for the work week, and fly back home for the weekends.

      Pros

      First off, I work at the headquarters in Indianapolis and can only comment on this, not in the field... Company is in the healthcare industry and is doing very well - stable company Everyone is very friendly in each dept - I feel that I can talk to anyone even if they are not someone I see everyday, everyone says hello Good health benefits and PTO plan (4 weeks as a new employee and it goes up after 5 years; I've worked for some companies that only offer 2-3 weeks starting out) Team environment - Best team that I have ever worked for Management is very open about what is going on with the company Compensation is very fair - They pay their people well

      Cons

      My only complaint is that they are located in the Park 100 area which is a nice area but it's a 30 mile drive for me. So the drive is the only con for me. I'm sure people will find things to complain about on here. You can't please everyone. Working with a great team does play a large part in how someone feels about a company. I'm still within my first year so I don't know everything going on but on the surface, it's a great place to work
