Pros
Their web based workorder system is probably one of the best I've seen. Lower level management is responsive to equipment and training needs.
Cons
Where do I begin? Trimedx was great years ago but great leadership at the central office has been replaced with managers/directors with no clinical engineering experience whatsoever. They've grown too fast, are more focused on marketing themselves and set goals which contradict each other in many regards. Their lack of vision regarding clinical engineering needs for their customers is a disappointment. Their call center and procurement people, who were great, have declined over the last year. Focuses on "insourcing" will ultimately be their downfall as the techs will not wish to travel around the country to do work outside of their hospitals. It seemed after every weekly managerial conference call with the central office, my manager came back with leadership remarking how screwed up our department was regardless of strong efforts of improvement.
