Pros

1. The head office legitimately cares about what you have to say and takes your suggestions seriously. 2. Your direct managers may have less experience than others, but TSP has a knack for having a good mix of fast-learners and experienced veterans at their contracts. 3. I have never had to beg for a raise or promortion. They recognize merit without fail. 4. They offer training classes for a plethora of topics ranging for technical certifications to hobbies via Rockstar U. 5. Benefits are great. A lot of the reviews I see on Glassdoor are from people who have been with TSP for a year or less. As a self proclaimed skeptic, that would seem a little fishy to me; the excitement of a new job can enrapture anyone. So, I lend my 5 year career with TSP as proof that it is not just the noobies that are happy with what is going on at TSP.

Cons

Once upon a time, I did want TSP to have a wiki site where we could go to get general information, more corporate events for us professionals to socialize, and a better way to communicate with upper management. All of these were byproducts of the rapid growth TSP has had in the last few years and all of them have been remedied.

Thank you so much for your five years of service and this wonderful review. We really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to share your experience with TSP and we are humbled by it! I'm also happy to hear that the items you were hoping to see have all come to fruition. TSP has experienced rapid growth the past few years and we are constantly thinking of ways to get our message and story out, not only to our employees in the field, but also new customers. Thanks again for sharing your feedback and keep up the great work!

Pros

None that IO can think of.

Cons

Lays off with no warning and tries to hire back at half your income.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to write a review on TSP and share your experiences and feedback. It sounds like you might be one of our employees who was recently affected by a layoff, and for that I want to sincerely apologize. Unfortunately, this was something that TSP had to do in response to some major changes that were handed down to us by one of our largest clients. I know a sudden job change as the one you might be experiencing now is incredibly difficult. I also understand that you would have liked warning, although I'm not sure how many private employers provide advanced notice due to confidentiality concerns. We worked for months to keep the number of impacted employees to as small a number as possible. However, ultimately this difficult decision had to be made in order to sustain the business, and again I'm sorry that it sounds like you were included. I hate to think that you spent three years with our company and can't think of a single "pro" for working at TSP. It is very true that with our company's rapid growth, changes have occurred also. Sometime these changes can negatively impact certain individuals. While we'd love to hire a particular employee and continue to give them raises and new opportunities year-after-year, that sometimes just isn't possible. As roles and job duties change with customer requirements, sometimes that means all we have available is a level I or II role. If an employee is at a level III currently, that might mean change for that employee. Again, I want to thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your time with TSP. I wish you the best for your future, and thank you also for your time while at TSP.

Pros

TSP has the healthiest work culture that I have personally experienced in my professional career. I know that I am a respected member of a team that strives for excellence, models integrity, and genuinely cares about its employees and the customers we serve.

Cons

Sometimes corporate events don't coordinate well with major project schedules out in the field. Enhanced communication with field leadership prior to planning company events might avoid conflicts and yield greater employee participation.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to write a review about your experience thus far with us. We truly appreciate it. We firmly believe one thing that sets us apart is our culture and I'm so happy you've seen that. I love that you say you are a respected member of a team and that you mention excellence, integrity and genuine concern. As I'm sure you know, "serving our clients with integrity" is part of our vision so it's awesome to hear some of our employees actually "feeling" that as well. I absolutely hear you on the scheduling of events. With 650 employees nationwide and about 275 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, it's impossible to coordinate with everyone. However, I do think we could provide some better coordination between our largest hubs of employees and make every effort not to have overlap. As we've grown, we've definitely tried to still keep the events that make TSP special. Thanks again for the review and keep up the great work!
