WOW...we're humbled by your feedback, but there's got to be a con somewhere? We definitely aren't perfect and don't have everything figured out, but we're truly grateful that you seem to like it here. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to submit a review of your experience with TSP. We have invested greatly the past few years in our training program that all employees are able to take advantage. This allow employees to grow both professionally and personally and I'm glad you've seen that first hand since you mention the "huge potential for growth." Thank you also for acknowledging our leadership team. I agree with you and think TSP's leadership is a great group of caring and accomplished individuals. Many times a leadership team can be too focused on either the internal or the external and I know this team works very hard to balance the two. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Pros

Relaxed, family atmosphere. Flexible management that respects your work/life balance. I've never worked for a company in which the CEO and President will both walk around the office and speak with each employee – and not just a passing "Hey how are you" but will engage in conversation about anything, it's refreshing.

Cons

I wish the fruit basket came twice a week – I'd clean it out.

We'll see what we can do about that fruit basket delivery :) Seriously though, thanks for the great feedback and for taking the time to write a review about your experience with us. I'm happy you've seen first-hand the relaxed atmosphere as well as the engagement all the way to the highest levels in our company with our CEO and President. I know for a fact that both our CEO and President strive for TSP to maintain its culture and belief system even as we grow bigger and bigger. It's one of the most important things to them. What we have at TSP is special and they don't want that getting lost in the growth. Rick and Frank are not venture capitalist or serial entrepreneurs - TSP is their baby and they are so proud of what they have built. Thank you for being part of it!

Happy 6 months and thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience so far. I'm so happy to hear that you have enjoyed every bit of it. I wanted to take just a few minutes and address your question regarding our process around raises and reviews. You can view our full policy in our employee handbook, #5.15. You can always access this from the big green help button in the upper right hand corner of CSC. TSP values and integrates a performance management system in contrast to a performance appraisal system. Historically performance appraisals are one-time events, retrospective, short-term, correction oriented, and revolve around completing a form or marking a check box. In contrast, performance management is ongoing, prospective, long-term, and involves progressive steps, planning, and goal setting. The corner stone of TSP’s performance management system is feedback. The purpose of feedback is to give information about the status and quality of work that can motivate, support, direct, correct and regulate work efforts and outcomes. An open dialogue between manager and employee ensures the two are in sync, and agree on the standards and expectations of the work to be performed. Through the use of informal coaching and counseling sessions, on-the-spot employee recognition, TSP’s disciplinary process, and TSP’s employee recognition program we are able to effectively manage employee performance and development in an on-going and continuous manner. With respect to merit increases, TSP believes in rewarding hard work at any point in the year. We have given full authority to our managers to request adjustments to salaries of their team members whenever they feel it is justified. Merit increases are evaluated on a case-by-case basis for each employee. Not all employees will be eligible for merit increases throughout the year depending upon a number of factors not limited to job grade, performance, length of service, and contractual obligations/requirements. Thank you again for the feedback and we hope the next 6 months are just as good as the first. If you should need any further clarification on our review and raises policies, please don't hesitate to contact your manager and/or a member of TSP's talent management team. Thanks!
