Pros

They are over all a laid back company with a lot to learn being a third party service provider.

Cons

Relay too much on what customer expects instead of contracting a specific service and adding services as added value over time for a price limiting growth potential.

Thank you for the great and candid feedback. Being one of our #TSProckstars for more than three years, you've certainly see a lot change with our rapid growth. We do still have a lot to learn and definitely hope you saw our open door policy and mentality at work. Our CEO often says, "if we stop learning, we stop growing." Your advice to management is well received!

Pros

Good entry level positions that look nice on a resume.

Cons

Very low wage and they usually do not hire within. Also, there is little to no morale within the company unless you work in the corporate office. The company does not have events or even Christmas parties, discouraging company culture. The work areas are in old, run down parts of buildings and are quiet dirty and depressing. Many employees have been stuck in the same positions for multiple years. Management does not perform reviews like most companies and, therefore, rarely give raises. Another thing to look out for, the company has a "good Ole boy" atmosphere. Management will hire those they know into positions over someone they don't without considering the qualifications of either person.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your experience to date with TSP. It sounds like we have some work to do, to get your views of the company up. I first want to encourage you, if you haven't already, to bring up some of these concerns with your manager, and if you don't get an acceptable response, please engage our talent management team (tsp_hr@mytsp.net). You are absolutely correct in that we do not perform annual performance reviews; however, that doesn't hinder an employee from getting a raise. Several years ago, we chose to move from a traditional performance appraisal system to a performance management system. Traditional performance reviews are retroactive, short-term, retrospective and correction-oriented. Our performance management system in contrast is ongoing, prospective, long-term, and involve planning/goal setting. Every day of every year, we encourage open communication, continual feedback, formal and informal coaching, and subscribe to an open door policy. Many of our employees that are 100% onsite at a customer location have their compensation heavily impacted on what our customers pay us. Having said that, we provide a great service to our customers and sometimes probably don't demand high enough bill rates from our customers. We will continue to work on that which will allow us to provide higher pay rates to our employees. I wanted to address one final thing as your comment didn't seem to correlate with company facts. We absolutely believe in investing in our employees and promoting from within, and I'm very sorry you haven't seen this. We have lots of opportunities available as we hire 100+ employees per year and experience double-digit revenue growth. We also promoted 12% of workforce just last year alone. Again, I can't thank you enough for providing this feedback and definitely encourage you to speak with your leadership team about your concerns.

Pros

Family friendly place, that understands employees have lives outside of work. Fun but hard-working culture creates a successful and enjoyable work experience. I am very grateful for the opportunities TSP has given me over the years. I genuinely hope TSP will have me for the long-term.

Cons

Only con is that due to the size and the business we are in, coworkers are spread out a bit.

WOW, we really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to write such a kind review. We love the advice you gave. In fact, we love it so much, it's part of our vision, "...to retain and nurture our strong beliefs and culture as it grow..." We can't do that alone though, we need employees such as yourself to hold us accountable. We often say our product is our people, and we definitely work hard, but we like to think along the way, we have a lot of fun also! Our geographic disparity is definitely something we are constantly aware of. In our line of business, it's easy for employees to feel like they are on an island, all alone. We certainly have large hubs of employees in some locations, but it's also not uncommon for a TSP employee to be the only TSP employee on a customer site. Through some of our social media and technology initiatives we are always striving to make every TSP employee feel like they are part of something larger than themselves. Even though we can't all be physically together, there are other ways we can communicate, share and collaborate.
