Don't get on Sr. Managers bad side

Pros

I worked here for 5+ years. Most of Sr Management is solid but there are a few that have no business being in their position. I guess when u know the right people it doesn't matter if suck at your job.

Cons

Call center politics. If u know the right people u can get away with anything. Even run a successful program into the ground.

Employee Beware

Pros

They say all the right things, have the values posted everywhere, have great facilities, and some very good people work there. Line level employees are the heart of the company and do their best to live the company's values everyday. Amazingly, the site locations have a far better work environment than HQ.

Cons

Executive leadership doesn't walk the talk. They are condescending, low trust, high control, know-it-alls who never leave their office to interact with employees - and it's because they don't care. Extremely high turnover, only two or three top executives have any decision making authority. Top executives have favorites and all others are just figure heads executing against what top execs say. Top execs have very large blind spots in terms of what's best for the organization.

I'm sorry your experience with TeleTech wasn't a good one, but I'd like to thank you still for taking the time to make a review. Top management has a lot of duties and responsibilities and it's very hard to dissect what might or could have been since there is always a risk in any change or direction the company wishes to take. What we do know is that there is frequent change only because the company continues to grow, as evidenced by the recent rebranding of Sofica Group to TeleTech. As always, TeleTech is committed to serve its clients and employees in the best possible way.

Employees treated like cattle

Pros

Vending macines, cantina, free water and ice.

Cons

Salary cap. No raises. Company does nothing to retain hard workers and valuable employees. Very high turnover rate. Nobody cares. People herded in and out like cattle.

Hello! Thanks for the review. Are you talking about our seasonal accounts? TeleTech values each employee regardless if they are full time or in a seasonal job. Rest assured we do not treat our employees as such. I hope you have discussed this with your immediate supervisor or upper management so things could have been ironed out.
