Pros

Steady Employment – Provides a stable job opportunity with consistent pay. Industry Experience – Good way to gain customer service and call center experience, especially for those early in their careers. Work From Home Option – Some roles offer remote work, which can be a convenience depending on the position.

Cons

Limited Growth – Career advancement opportunities may be minimal, making long-term progression challenging. Low Pay – Compensation might not be competitive compared to similar customer service roles in Canada. Work-Life Balance Issues – Shift schedules and workload can sometimes make it difficult to maintain a healthy balance.

Pros

Remote setup with clear expectations for daily task output Paid breaks: 2x 15-minute breaks and a 45-minute lunch Voice line system for calling out—no need to explain absences as long as you have PTO, wellness, or ADA coverage Occasionally offers VTO (voluntary time off), though it’s unpaid Great opportunity to build financial data experience and multi-system efficiency

Cons

Onboarding feels misleading: The promised $1,200 sign-on bonus came with hidden terms and last-minute changes that caused many employees to lose eligibility unfairly Strict about rules they never explain: There are countless unwritten policies you can get flagged for, but they aren’t shared proactively—it's up to you to guess or get written up Toxic micromanagement of bathroom breaks: Taking a break outside your scheduled time (even for medical needs) is heavily scrutinized. Employees with medical conditions or weak bladders are forced to go through ADA just to use the restroom without issue Depression worsened working here: The work culture is isolating and stressful, with little empathy for mental health unless you're lucky enough to secure ADA accommodations. Even getting time off for mental health requires jumping through hoops to earn enough PTO or wellness hours System error affects schedule fairness: Shifts are 10 hours, but the company’s backend is still set up for an 8-hour workday. This creates false flags for “call avoidance” when in reality, employees are just following policy. It also makes it harder to earn a full day off proportionate to your actual schedule Schedule change without warning: The days and times we worked were altered right before training started, creating chaos for people who had already planned around the original schedule No overtime + lawsuit rumors: Overtime was suddenly removed, and multiple teams have mentioned the company is facing legal action for wage discrepancies You’re replaceable, and it shows: The atmosphere often feels like you’re walking on eggshells. Many employees are placed into roles they didn’t sign up for, with no say or warning. Management is reactive, not supportive
