Pros

Currently the only pros are being able to work from home and having medical/dental/vision insurance.

Cons

It will slowly steal your soul and break your spirit. If you get promoted, there's no guarantee your position will always exist. Programs come and go too often so you get bounced around like a ping pong ball.
