Pros

Working hours are precise and usually if they want overtime from you they ask it in advance. You are getting paid the extra hours worked and there is transparency in your salary. Environment is overall good, but not great. They tend to be over sensitive over diversity and inclusion

Cons

Its a call center with lots of pressure that comes to a peak from March till September when it’s high season. Nevertheless the duration of you working there, you’re entitled to only one week of vacation between June-August because it’s ‘high season’ and the job type into tourism’. They hire many people at the beginning of high season and tend to get rid of them at the end in the meantime pledging many opportunities regarding promotion etc. Management is extremely demanding on employees providing overtime hours nearly every day. The salary was many times less than it should be and you had to open a ticket on specific platform to claim what you’ve worked for. Last but not least, they tend to favor the employees that are more likely to be bootlickers.

Pros

Over the years, I had a great team, supportive direct leadership, and I was really digging the culture. Unfortunately, I was impacted by recent layoffs, where my role was eliminated due to some "organizational budget cuts and restructuring." It's been a few months, but I felt compelled to come forward and express some concerns. I am still very close with many of my TTEC colleagues (many of whom are still employed with the organization) and they share the same concerns.

Cons

Over the course of my tenure, I became deeply frustrated by the ongoing practice of shuffling under-performing employees within the organization instead of addressing their lack of performance directly. As time went on, it became increasingly evident that individuals with long-standing ties to the company—or connections to the CEO—were being moved around within the organization or relocated to a TTEC subsidiary or joint venture, rather than facing appropriate consequences for their shortcomings. It was disheartening to witness dedicated, high-performing individuals being laid off while others were allowed to remain in the company under the guise of working on "special projects." It was crushing to my peers and I to see our hard work and commitment undervalued in favor of those who may not meet the same standards. It really jeopardizes morale but also undermines the culture of excellence we worked so hard to foster. This not only creates an impression of inequity but also sends a demoralizing message to top talent. It’s sad that connections to the president or long tenure can outweigh actual contributions to the company, which is deeply discouraging. It's also become increasingly clear that our CEO is putting his "B-Team" at these TTEC subsidiaries/joint ventures. The companies almost resemble a retirement home, populated by individuals who were not successful in the parent company. Meanwhile, talented employees are being laid off, which is both discouraging and unjust. Not only does this cycle of poor management and lack of accountability send a troubling message to dedicated employees, but it impacts financial performance as well. If the recent "unsolicited proposal from the CEO to take the company private" is any indication, things aren't looking good for the future.
