Pros

One of the pros to working for Taco Mac used to be the amount of money you make, now days that isn't even competitive. The 50% off discount is helpful. Along with flexibility of schedule. If you can agree with the corporate rules and behave as a total kiss ass you will go far in this company. Speak your mind once, even if you are correct, and out the door you go.

Cons

Poor pay. Understaffed (management and hourly). Dishonest management practices. Overworked employees.

Terrible work-life ratio Awful Company Culture Poor Facilities Obnoxious Customer Base Low employee morale Unnecessarily Long Hours of Operation Pretty much everything else. There really isn't anything good about this job. Turnover is exceedingly high, morale is non-existant, the customer base sucks. The store itself is sandwiched between the two seediest, dirtiest, rowdiest bars in downtown, so the late night traffic coming in is drunk, obnoxious, and will do or say just about anything to get something for free...and then there are the bums/vagrants. I had to call the cops roughly once a week.
