Pros

Excellent training opportunities if you are interested in advancing or maintaining your career. Many areas to acquire experience with knowledgeable supervisors.

Cons

Communication top down very difficult with decisions being made without benefit of frontline opinion. Turnover high for all work divisions.

Pros

Hire people with very little experience (some times too little experience ie not even close to a degree in human services). Benefits are ok

Cons

Supervision is incredibly lax and that is a problem when you have such extremely volatile clients. Hiring process is a joke, you may get an interview and not be called back for several weeks. Understanding of what they can legally do while a member is on military orders is lacking. Units expectation on case managers leaves case managers doing band aid work rather than actually being able to help the client.
