Pros

The work with the clients is what it's all about. There is real potential to make an impact in people's lives. There is flexibility in the schedule, room to advance and lots of free training available. Supervision for licensure is available.

Cons

Lower pay scale, expensive medical benefits, high turn over. There are an over abundance of illicit substances in the halfway houses and this can make for a high stress work environment.
