Pros

Learning how to do the job correctly is not hard. The discount for employees is wonderful.

Cons

As a temporary employee, even when I come back to my same position after being at school, there is no opportunity to get a raise. Although the salary is higher than minimum wage, it would be nice to be rewarded for hard work.

Pros

Most of my co-workers are great, Seventy percent of the clients are nice and you know them by name. There is visual freedom to a degree. You follow a book, but can make substitutions appropriate to your business. I have an incredibly supportive DM you really seems to believe in me.

Cons

No internal movement in yrs. My DM declined a RM opportunity so there was no SM movement either. Top leadership has constant turnover. There have been four changes in the last two years. Each one had a diff idea of what we "needed" to focus on so we have conflicting messaging to our staff. SM hours are regularly +43 and with a small mgt team +46. While there is a bonus structure they are little bonuses if any. My tenured staff informed me there have only been 2 raises in the last 10 yrs. There is no recruiting support. If you are down a member of mgt you are expected to recruit with little to no help or support.
