Pros

Can gain exposure to a traditional retail industry for those starting out, if interested. Also they give a generous of sick days.

Cons

I would not recommend to work here to anyone. The management is the worst I have ever seen. It’s shocking that some managers are allowed to be in charge of people and their professional development. They are on power-trips and want to be the boss, even though they have no clue what is going on in the business or what their employees do on a daily business. They have been there so long that they refuse to adapt to change, listen to new ideas. They want everyone to do work for them so they can kick back and enjoy their “manager” or “VP” title they finally earned after giving their allegiance to the company for 10+ years. The lack of professional development is shocking. Touch bases with bosses should not result in people crying and feeling useless. They also keep you from moving on once you become skilled, because you’ll do their work for them. Warning: you will never do anything right. Going to higher ups or HR for support is useless, they will protect management till they are forced not to. For entry level, be ready to work yourself through and through, just to be scolded and told it’s never going to be good enough. The amount of vacation time and sick days given are great, until your manager makes up excuses why you can’t take off, doesn’t approve them in a timely fashion, judges your vacation destinations, or questions sick time. The only people moving up in the company are people who are under new, fresh, young managers, whom themselves landed in a management role most likely by accident (role gaps or re-organization). That seems to be no coincidence. The inspirational sayings and mantras of the brand’s voice written on the walls are all smoke in mirrors.

Pros

Great focus on HER... incredible customers and spending time with them is a true joy! The company has a program around making sure the customer experience is better than anywhere else she might go.

Cons

no work life balance. double weekends are demanded. operations are so heavy it's difficult to give the customer the focus that the company itself wants the customer to have. Pay is low and there are no raises. payroll is very low - and managers can't make their bonus unless they cut staff to the bare bones.
