Pros

Let you say Yes to the customer no matter the circumstances. The customers should always leave happy!!

Cons

They give you a "paid" holiday at Thanksgiving and Christmas but you have to work the same schedule that week and just take the pay. You don't get the time off and pay Ike a paid holiday is supposed to be.

Pros

Retail work is hard times when economy is done, and sales goals are not being met. They were going through an identity crisis trying to change their core customer target to a younger look, and that was a big mistake. Baby boomers have the money, and will spend if good quality and great service.

Cons

Too much task work, because of company's merchandising approach. Too many tables of folded shirts, and one customer pulling out one from the bottom is a repeat fold of the stack, and 10 more minutes of labor. Sales goals too unrealistic. Low pay, little bonus opportunity makes tensions tight, and good people leave.
