      Pros

      When you do a good job on contests they reward you with "talbots cash" rather than additional discounts for full priced clothes. They basically buy you something.

      Cons

      Managers seem to think its ok to do less work than the sales associates. it's their point of view that they are allowed to task out or check email all day and rely on you to do all go-backs (even the manager's go-backs), sales, and open all the talbots charge cards on your own because their jobs are more important than yours.

      good entry level- get in and get out half day fridays in the summer great for suburban soccer moms people are generally nice who work there full benefits

      Cons

      conservative corporate culture bad management great for suburban soccer moms favoritism high turnover rate what have you done for me lately type attitude very small bonuses and salary increases

      good pay, discount is pretty good, nice people to work with

      Cons

      associates are accountable based on productivity, sales get competitive and can feel almost catty, clothes have a good associate discount but are still somewhat expensive, some workers are very judgmental
