      Pros

      Professional work environment with a great merchandising career ladder and solid review process. A+ for their investment in developing their people.

      Cons

      There is a very limited amount of ability to make decisions. Any decisions that are made are reviewed in detail by several layers of management, giving the feeling that everyone is operating one level down (ie the Directors are operating as Buyers, the Buyers are like Associates, etc).

      Pros

      Employees are great and the discount is nice.

      Cons

      Managers do not know how to manage. They try to keep everyone "happy" so no one complains and they are so busy trying to get ahead, they do a very poor job. I never got my reviews on time and sometimes missed it completely so a pay raise I worked my butt off for, either was very late or skipped. Also, my GM and DM would not tell people when they were doing something wrong, they would just go behind their back and talk about how stupid they are and then do the same job a second time. Not very efficient.

      Pros

      The store level employees are wonderful and valuable asset to the company.

      Cons

      No acknowledgement from upper management regarding performance and a job well done. No training whatsover and failure to promote from within. Poor communication throughout company. No support for store level management.
