      Pros

      The stores are very pretty and well kept. The stores attract a very high-end customer. The quality of the product is excellent.

      Cons

      The store managers are tasked with everything from cleaning to processing shipments because they have no budget to hire people. They must also sell and maintain a high personal SPH or face write-UPS.

      Pros

      Pro-active and quickly evolving company focused on results. Highly customer-centic and technology based. Solid and loyal clientele following. Adaptable to changing environment. Most upper management try to lead by example and do a good job.

      Cons

      Talbots is an exceptionally operationally heavy company and sales programs require labor intensive time. Stores are expected to deliver with ridiculous targets, short deadlines with minimal payroll.

      District Manager communicates to management that their hours are free because they are salaried. They expect you to cut payroll hours to save money and work the hours. No increase in pay/low pay No work life balance Told at manager meeting to write positive reviews for the company Constant turnover company wide Unprofessional management
